Bee-autiful News!

Have you heard the amazing news? A total ban on bee-killing pesticides in all 28 EU countries!!! This means that use of the world’s most common insecticides will no longer be legal pressing industry to develop a whole new model of non-toxic agriculture! As you can tell, we are simply buzzing about it and think that this gorgeous pic from Alison Jay's 'Bee and Me' perfectly sums up our feelings!!!!

Bouncing and Books!

To kick off the National Federation of Children's Book Groups' fabulous 'Share a Story Month', here is Ella Okstad Illustrator's son Peder and his friend Agnes reading 'Squishy McFluff The Invisible Cat' and 'Sophie Johnson Unicorn Expert' whilst bouncing on the trampoline in Ella's garden! I think you will have to agree this takes some serious skill - hats off to this lovely pair!

Happy 18th Wedding Anniversary to our gorgeous artists Chantelle & Burgen Thorne! Here they are at their fabulous 'out of Africa' themed wedding back in 2000 - they were even mucking around on the Tugela river in white-water rafts that morning! We love this crazy pair!!!!

Welcome to New Artist Marina Perez Luque!


This month we welcome a new recruit to The Organisation... the lovely Marina Pérez Luque!

Marina is an illustrator from Granada, Spain, where she studied a degree in Fine Arts and where she lives and works at present. Since then she's been focusing on children's illustration. She has worked with publishers focused on the children's sector such as Storytime Magazine (UK), Oxford University Press (UK) and Editorial SM (Spain). Her work is inspired by many themes, especially the relationship between the human being and nature and believes it important to convey values of respect and solidarity.
