We are so pleased to hear that the wonderful Barefoot Books Atlas, featuring David Dean's stunning illustrations, has placed as runner up in the ALCS awards for educational writing, hosted by the Society of Authors. Congratulations to all involved on the project. David has helped this book, and accompanying digital app, to become one of the most popular recent non-fiction publications, with his lush colour palette and sublime creativity. Let the success continue!

NEW ARTIST - SHANE MCGOWAN!!


A very warm welcome to Shane McGowan - our latest signing!

Born in Australia, Shane worked in London for nearly 20 years before moving back to Melbourne in 2004.

He has an extensive editorial, design and publishing client list in Australia, Europe and the US including New York Times, Wall St Journal , Ford, The Observer, The Guardian and Time.

He also writes and illustrates picture books which have been published in over 10 countries.

His work has been recognised on numerous occasions by Images (UK), European Illustration and Illustrators Australia, where he has won many Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.

Carlos Araujo wins award!


Congratulations for Carlos Araujo, who is one of 10 winners selected in the Latin American Fotografía and Ilustración Dos competition, 10 illustrators were picked to be included in this special, traveling exhibit produced by Epson.

"Los Diez" collection were unveiled yesterday at the Big Talk event in NYC and will be exhibited today at The Party (also in NYC) as part of a two-day celebration.

Richard Johnson for Usborne

A wonderful illustration commission came in for Richard Johnson and we are pleased to be able to show you the results! Usborne publishing asked Richard to contribute to their fabulous new three book anthology, 'Stories for Bedtime', and Richard's incredible work does not disappoint! Packed with classic stories, it's a cracking publication and Richard's work shines throughout. He even get the cover of the box! I urge you to get a copy as it'll become a firm favourite at bedtime!

Carlos Araujo selected for annual

Great news for our man Carlos Araujo - his work for the Brazilian band Hotelo has been selected to be part of the Latin American Ilustración 2! 
From 431 images, only 29 were selected to represent the best images from Latin America. The 29 selected images will be presented in New York City at two exclusive events in November. Congratulations Carlos!

Originally from Belarus, and now living in the UK, Runa studied at the Cambridge School of Art and over time has developed a beautiful style of illustration, for both children's and adult work. Parragon Classics.

We've just received copies of the fantastic new compilation of classic stories from Parragon featuring the work of Victoria Assanelli, Steve Horrocks and Livia Coloji. It's such a great quality production, and really shows off the creativity of our exceptional artists. Victoria has re worked 'Wind in the Willows' with her gorgeous distinctive style , Steve's wonderful draftsmanship is on show in 'Treasure Island', and Livia's delightful artwork brings the story of 'Black Beauty' to life! It really is a treat to see and would make a wonderful gift for children, bringing these much loved tales to a new audience.

Carlos Araujo showcased in 3x3 Magazine!

Great news.. Carlos Araujo is being showcased in the illustration magazine 3x3! . Only six illustrators are selected for each issue, the theme of this issue was whimsical illustration and they found Carlos to be one of the most talented illustrators working in the field today. Now in their 10th year 3x3 recognizes outstanding creative work produced by individuals from around the world and feature those individuals in their special section called Spotlight.

Lisa Hunt for Morrison's baby range!

We are so excited to tell you about the launch of Morrison's 'Little Big' range for babies, complete with the fabulous artwork by the lovely Lisa Hunt! Lisa worked together with Elmwood to created the adorable elephant designs which feature on all on the products in the range. Her simple, contemporary approach was perfect for the clean and clear look that the supermarket wanted to achieve. It might be for babies, but I don't care.. I'm off to get my hands on some of that lotion to give my skin that youthful glow!

Valentina's first book published!

We are proud to announce that Valentina Mendicino's first children's picture book, published by Top That! Publishing, is hitting the shelves this month. 'The Tragic Tale of Dwayne, The Eating Monster' is the hilarious story of one little monster's insatiable appetite. He eats and eats, and grows and grows, until.... well you'll just have to find out his fate for yourselves! Valentina's striking and original artwork conveys the story perfectly, and we are pleased and excited to be part of the blossoming career of an artist who is definitely one to watch over the coming months.

Valentina award from Macmillan

We are so pleased to announce that Valentina Mendicino's wonderful book, 'The Really Abominable Snowman' has won a commendation from the Macmillan children's book prize, awarded annually for outstanding original work from students of illustration. Valentina has since graduated and if already a big hit with our clients! Congratulations Valentina!

Fairy Ponies tells the tales of a little girl, Holly, and the magical world of the fairy ponies. NEW ARTIST! Sarah Deakin!

We are pleased to announce our latest addition to The Organisation stable has arrived... SARAH DEAKIN!

Sarah Deakin is a recent graduate of the MA Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Her illustrations are a fusion of intricate watercolour and pencil drawings with digital media and inspired by observational drawing. Sarah works from a studio at her farm in Charnwood Forest, Leicestershire.
