Alison Jay Working 9 - 5 !!!

Congratulations go out to our exceptional illustrator Alison Jay this month, as her gorgeous children's book, 'Welcome to the Zoo' had been bought by Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Sponsored by the Dollywood foundation the library offers up free books to go out to children under five right across the USA, Canada and now parts of the UK to encourage them to get into read. A huge 148,000 copies will be snapped up by the library and will be winging their way to thousands of lucky children on both sides of the Atlantic! Well done Alison!

David Whittle works with South Eastern Railways

With the dawn of Oyster card travel on London's over ground network, illustrator David Whittle has been busy working on a big advertising campaign for South Eastern trains. His wonderful artwork will grace key poster sites at railway stations across the network. The artwork is also used in direct mail, press, on buses, underground sites, and online, with his quirky characters being used for an animation on the South Eastern Railway home page. Be sure to check out his illustrations on your travels this February and March!

New Artist - Violeta Dabija!

Introducing a brand new artist to The Organisation - Violeta Dabija! Living and working in Moldova, Eastern Europe, Violeta is comfortable in both traditional and digital media. With 9 years of experience in the business and 25 children's books to her name, Violeta really is a success. This was reinforced in 2008 when she gained an entry into the publication of the top 200 illustrators working today. Check out more of her great work here.

Violeta has also recently had her wonderful drawings turned into animation by children's publisher 'Speakaboos'. See some of her fresh modern takes on classic fairy tales below:

Ingela's designs at the Formex Nordic fair!

Ingela Peterson Arrhenius continues to shine, with her playful artworks being used for OMM Design's children's nesting dolls and 2D puzzles. She has recently showcased these fabulous creations at the Formex Nordic fair in Stockholm - the largest professional expo celebrating the rich and unique talents in Nordic design today.

Talented Swedish artist, Ingela Peterson Arrhenius, has been very busy of late designing some wonderful characters for a Korean company producing plush toys. Her simple graphic designs have been faithfully reproduced in 3D form to create these cute soft toys, which will be the perfect addition to any discerning child's nursery!
